Kids suitcases making travel more bearable

More and more families look to jet off to other countries now that recession talk is calming, with the influx around the holiday seasons comes more children in airports as a result. 25 years ago this may have been a rare sight but today every airport will have its fair share of children waiting to board flights.
For parents it can often be difficult trying to juggle travelling arrangements, times and transport without having to worry about children running off and getting lost or making constant demands of the parents both financially and physically during the journey to their destination. Flying can be difficult enough without ensuring that all children are well supervised, well behaved and kept occupied for these long periods.
To aid this process slightly, children's luggage is now being imaginatively designed so that the child actually relates to it as a character. Some child suitcase designs now have the appearance of animals on wheels, the children can now sit on top of their luggage which also acts as a ‘play vehicle' and therefore helps to keep their boredom levels to a minimum during the long waiting times.
Names which are normally reserved for cuddly toys such as ‘Bernard the Bee', ‘Freddie the fire engine' and ‘Tipu the tiger' are now names for children's suitcase characters. Their bright colours and rolling wheels look to keep any child occupied whilst roaming around airport terminals and holiday resorts. This means that children may be more inclined to carry their own luggage themselves as opposed to adding it to the parents luggage load.
These novelty suitcases are not just designed for aesthetic appeal it seems. As the suitcases are designed in hand luggage size they can also be taken on to the plane for storage in the overhead cabins. Their hard side plastic material ensures that they are not easily broken, ripped or opened by simple force once locked, they also tend to feature carry handles so they can be carried along like a regular bag or even towing hooks for when the child prefers to be pulled along while sitting on board their luggage.
Adults will be happier as a result that their children may enjoy travel a little more than usual with their wheeled friends in tow, though they may be wary of such purchases if it then involves pulling their child along on them all the way through the entire journey as well as their own luggage.
If you are looking to buy suitcases then there are a great range of options available today with high quality lightweight luggage.
